Not Just a Redesign: How We Elevated Mero Concepts’ Digital Presence

When your business is built on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and smart design, your website should reflect that same level of care. Mero Concepts—an Austin-based smart-home integration firm—had earned a stellar reputation for blending aesthetics with cutting-edge tech. From hiding speakers in 1930s homes to installing POE-powered Sonos systems in commercial spaces, their work was anything but ordinary.

But their website? It didn’t measure up.

Despite their premium services, Mero’s digital presence was underwhelming. It didn’t showcase the caliber of their projects, lacked strong visuals, and made it difficult for potential clients to take action. For a company that thrived on word-of-mouth and referrals, not having a site that could reinforce trust—or drive leads—was holding them back.

That’s where we came in.

Elevating More Than Just the Interface

Our job wasn’t just to make their website prettier. It was to build something foundational—a digital presence that matched their level of work and positioned them for future growth. And just as Mero doesn’t believe in rushing through a smart-home installation, we didn’t believe in rushing this build either.

Working directly with founder Marc Oliveri, we slowed the process down just enough to get it right. We started with conversations—about values, process, and where the brand was headed. The goal wasn’t just to create a modern design. It was to translate their philosophy—blending technology, usability, and design—into a website that worked just as beautifully as the spaces they build.

Designing for Storytelling and Scalability

We approached this project with storytelling at the center. Their old site felt static and templated, which clashed with the bespoke nature of their work. So we designed an editorial-style portfolio, one that allowed each project to breathe and unfold visually—more like a magazine spread than a traditional gallery page.

To make updates effortless, we built a clean, flexible CMS in Webflow. Now, their team can add new projects on the fly, without needing a developer.

Beyond design, we knew this site had to perform. We layered in search engine optimization to improve their visibility in the Austin market, ensuring that potential clients searching for smart-home solutions could actually find them. We integrated CRM forms that didn’t just collect data—they routed leads intelligently, streamlining follow-ups and improving sales outcomes.

And because privacy compliance isn’t optional in 2025, we added Axeptio for cookie consent and data handling—ensuring they meet modern privacy standards without cluttering the user experience.

Letting the Work Speak

When it came to visuals, we held back—on purpose. We leaned into simplicity: minimal typography, white space, and real photography from real projects. Smooth interactions and page transitions helped the site feel responsive and polished, but nothing got in the way of the work itself. The result? A user experience that puts Mero’s craftsmanship at the forefront.

The Result: A Platform That Reflects Their Promise

Mero Concepts’ new website is more than just a digital brochure—it’s a high-performing, lead-generating asset that matches the sophistication of their real-world work. It clearly communicates who they are, what they do, and how they do it. It’s fast, responsive, and fully scalable, allowing their brand to evolve without outgrowing their platform.

Even better, it’s working. While we always emphasize the long game in SEO and lead generation, Mero has already seen stronger engagement and more qualified inquiries since launch. The site is doing what it’s supposed to do—turning interest into opportunity.

Why This Matters

For service-based companies like Mero, the website isn’t just a marketing tool—it’s part of the customer experience. It sets expectations, tells your story, and builds credibility before anyone even picks up the phone. When it’s outdated, underwhelming, or disconnected from your real-world offering, it sends the wrong message.

This project proves what’s possible when you stop seeing your website as a one-off redesign—and start treating it as the strategic foundation it should be.

The Bigger Picture: Webflow, SEO, and the Future of Service-Based Sites

In 2025, webflow has become the go-to platform for agencies like ours not just because it’s beautiful, but because it’s powerful. It allows us to create custom sites that look great, load fast, and scale effortlessly—with built-in SEO tools, structured data capabilities, and performance that meets Core Web Vitals out of the box.

But the reality is this: the bar is higher now.

Clients—especially in industries like architecture, design, integration, and tech—don’t just want a good-looking site. They want a site that drives results. That ranks. That converts. That their team can manage. And that doesn’t look like it came off a template conveyor belt.

More and more, we're hearing from companies who are tired of fighting with WordPress, losing leads to poor UX, or watching their SEO fall flat. They want what Mero now has—a site that reflects their expertise, tells their story, and moves their business forward.

What About You?

If your website no longer reflects the quality of your work—or if it was built fast and cheap and now feels like it—it might be time for something better.

We build sites like this not just for Mero, but for any brand where the real-world experience needs to translate digitally. If that sounds like you, we should talk.
