I’m recording this update from Willamette Valley, Oregon—a place that unexpectedly shaped the early direction of Chasing Creative. Years ago, Jasmine and I were here for a work trip and ended the week wandering through vineyards, old trailer parks, and small towns. The pace, the nature, and the way people cared for their craft stuck with us.
We shot a few photos and videos during that trip, posted one of them to Unsplash, and it took off. Millions of views later, it became one of the early pieces that helped us travel, work with hotels and hospitality brands, and slowly build what would eventually become our studio—now based in Palm Coast, Florida.
This year has been a steady season of growth. We’ve brought on new contributors from around the world, built better systems, and found a good rhythm between our core services:
We work with both B2B and consumer-focused brands because our work naturally straddles both worlds:
we enjoy product storytelling, creators, and UGC on the consumer side, while also digging deep into smart-building tech, data centers, and commercial infrastructure on the B2B side.
A big part of our recent work has centered on smart tech for buildings — everything from commercial environments to hospitals and data centers. We’ve partnered with brands like Bryte Light, WTEC, Crux Solutions, and Mero Concepts to document their spaces, teams, operations, and case studies.
On this Oregon trip, we’re filming with 1547, a company with data centers and facilities across the U.S. These projects help us tell stories about connectivity, infrastructure, and how physical spaces actually operate behind the scenes.
People often ask what our pitches or proposals look like. Honestly, they’re different every time. We scope quickly so clients know the timeline, investment, and team within days—not months. We keep things transparent, especially around budgets, because long-term relationships only work when both sides feel aligned.
We also stay intentionally small. We bring in specialists as needed, but our core team is built around ongoing partnerships, not churn. Many clients talk with us multiple times a week—sometimes daily—because that consistent communication is part of how we deliver good work.
We treat marketing like a practice. Not everything works the first time, and that’s okay. We combine principles, data, and creativity instead of leaning on templates or assumptions. Each campaign is an experiment that we refine as we go—whether it’s a video series, a website rebuild, or ongoing paid ads.
We also like to bring our personal life into the work instead of splitting the two. Recording this from a vintage camper is a good example. We try to stay energized, curious, and involved without burning out, and that approach tends to carry into how we collaborate with clients.
Chasing Creative is now in its second full-time year, and we’ve built consistent recurring work across video, websites, and long-term marketing support. Word-of-mouth referrals continue to be a huge part of our growth.
Recently, we took a big step and opened an office at a coworking space in Palm Coast, Florida. The goal is simple: give clients and collaborators a place to meet, work, and create together.
As we look ahead, we’re focused on:
For the folks we work with now— and the ones we’ll meet next — thanks for continuing to build alongside us. Whether you’re an entrepreneur figuring out your next step or a company growing your digital presence, we’re right there with you.
